Traditional Practice Sits
We offer the first Monday of the month a period of “Traditional Practice.” We devote the session to silence, extended sitting and walking meditation, and a short service of chanting and bowing. Please feel free to join us even if you do not have experience with our forms.
Instruction offered if you come by 6:30 pm on Monday evenings. We offer Zen meditation instruction for anyone who requests it.
We do recommend instruction for those new to Zen practice and can also arrange instruction outside of our regular meeting time and place.
You are welcome to join us without attending instruction, and may participate with our group any Sunday morning or Monday evening.
We meet Sunday mornings, Monday evenings, plus have retreats and classes at the Bozeman Dharma Center, upstairs in Suite 202, at 1019 East Main Street in Bozeman (Google Map). The building is set back from the street.
You are welcome to join us whether or not you’ve had previous experience with Zen practice. If you want directions or more information, please telephone Karen DeCotis at 406-600-0918 or email at Bozeman Zen Group
